About Me

My name is Marco DiNardo, and golf has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started as time spent on the course with my dad quickly turned into a genuine passion — one that’s shaped both my career and the way I approach the game today.

I played competitively at John Jay High School, earning All-League honors, before continuing my career at Western Connecticut State University as a member of the NCAA Division III golf team while earning my degree in Financial Accounting. One of my favorite memories from my playing career was making my first hole-in-one at the Castleton Invitational.

I got my start in the golf industry at Beekman Golf Course, where I worked in a variety of roles and learned the game from the ground up. That experience led me to Hollow Brook Golf Club, where I spent several seasons developing my skills in both golf operations and instruction, and ultimately confirmed that this was the path I wanted to pursue.

I am currently an Assistant Golf Professional at Upper Montclair Country Club, where I serve as the Men’s Tournament Director and Junior Golf Director. My role allows me to stay closely connected to every side of the game — from running tournaments to working with players through lessons, clinics, and camps. I’ve especially enjoyed building the junior program and creating an environment where young players can develop their skills while truly enjoying the game.

What I enjoy most about this profession is helping players improve and gain confidence. Whether someone is just getting started or looking to take their game to the next level, my goal is to simplify the process, make the game feel more natural, and give players a clear understanding of how to get better. I believe in a balance of on-course experience and structured practice, so players not only improve, but also know how to continue improving on their own.

I am currently completing my PGA Level 2 coursework as I work toward becoming a PGA Class A Professional.

Above all, I take pride in creating a welcoming, enjoyable environment where players can grow their game, build confidence, and have fun — because that’s what golf has always been about for me.
