About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Marco DiNardo and I am 24 years old. Golf has been a huge part of my life ever since my father introduced me to the game at a young age. I quickly gained an immense passion for Golf. In high school, I played for the John Jay Golf team where I received All League Honors for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. I studied at Western Connecticut State University, where I received a BA in Financial Accounting, and played NCAA Division III Golf. I received my first hole-in-one at the Castleton Invitational in 2018.

I worked as a starter, golf cart attendant, and Pro-Shop Associate at Beekman Golf Course for two seasons. I decided to pursue a career in golf and became an Assistant Golf Professional at Hollow Brook Golf Club. During my 3-year tenure, I learned a lot about the golf operation, including techniques to help players improve their game.

I am thrilled to embark on my first season at Upper Montclair Country Club, in Clifton, New Jersey. I am eager to absorb fresh perspectives and expand my knowledge in a place of such rich history and high standard.

I am currently going through rigorous training to become a PGA Class-A Professional by 2025.  I am currently finishing up my Level-1 Coursework.

What I love most about working in the golf industry is helping people enhance their game whether they are just starting their golf journey, or have a good understanding of the game. I love to see players gain confidence in their skills through a mix of on course playing sessions and off course drill/practice sessions. I help players set up an improvement plan with measurable goals. This allows the player to become less dependent on the instructor because they know what they need to improve after each lesson. Golf is my passion. I am eager to see what the future holds and look forward to being a part of the golf industry and community.
